How the Block came into my life

The first time I ever watched the block was in 2010. When I heard about it I immediately fell in love. I never watched it on TV but whenever I had the chance I would watch it on the internet. The host of the show in seasons 1 and 2 was Jamie Durie and the host for seasons 3 and the rest is Scott Cam. The only way you can win is by going over your reserve price which is set by the judges. Each house has a different reserve price depending on the style and comfort of your house.

In Season 3 my favourite couple was Mark and Duncan they came third overall. Mark and Duncan sold their house for $907,000 and got a profit of $47,000. The couple that won in season 3 was John and Neisha. Their house sold for $1,105,000 and got a profit of $205,000. The couple that came second was Erin and Jake. Their house sold for $997,500 and got a profit of $87,500. The couple that unfortunately came last was Chez and Brenton they didn’t sell their house at auction therefore did not get a profit.

Season 4 was my favourite season out of them all. Josh and Jenna were my favourite couple out of the whole competition. They didn’t sell their house at auction but did sell it after auction and got a profit of $50,000. Polly and Waz were also one of my favourite couples they were the only ones to sell their house in season 4. They sold their house for $855,000 and got a profit of $115,000. Rod and Tania also sold their house after auction and received $922,000 and a profit of $72,000. Amie and Katrina sold their house after auction at $860,000 and didn’t receive and profit.

Season 5 was one of the more entertaining seasons. Brad and Lara came first they received $1,620,000 and a profit of $506,000. Dan and Dani came second and sold their house for $1,440,000 and got a profit of $448,000. Sophie and Dale came last they were my favourite couple in this season. They sold their house for $1,330,000 and got a profit of $355,000. Mike and Andrew came third and got $1,400,001.0 for their house and a profit of $434,001.01.

Season 6 is still being aired on TV. This is by far probably the best season ever to be made. Seasons 6 isn’t the ordinary block its THE BLOCK ALL STARS. Where couples from the previous seasons come back and renovate another house to see who the best out of them all is. From season 1 there is Phil and Amity. Mark and Duncan from season 3. Josh and Jenna from season 4. Dan and Dani from season 5. The most exciting season of the block is still going, it will be a huge wait till the end to find out the winner.
