Review on Korean boy's blog:
It was hard to pick just one blog when there are so many
great ones on the internet. I have chosen to review the Dance blog written by
Korean Boy. The reason I chose this blog was because I love dancing and it’s
interesting to see what other people think of dance. For the review I will talk
about the background and the layouts and how it fits in with the topic. I will
also talk about how the whole blog is focused on dance.
The background didn’t really fit in with the whole dance
subject. Although all the colours really work together and don’t hurt your eyes
when reading the blog, I think that it should have more to do with dance. Korean
boy made all the lines and colours mix well together. The pink, yellow and
purple colours work well together and the whole pattern continues all the way
down the page. All the colours don’t make reading the blog hard because the
post colour is white and the writing is black. The black writing is very good
and effective it won’t make you dizzy if you’re reading the blog for a long
period of time. The background worked well with the posts although I think it
should have had more to do with dance.
Korean boy did very well to keep the whole blog focussed on
dance. All the posts were set out great with pictures to describe what it was about;
they all got better with more description. He started with how dance came into
his life then he discussed how his progress was going and ended with how his
dance is now and his performances. This was very successful because you get to
read through his journey and see what dance is like for him. Korean boy did very
well to tie in all these post and make the reader focussed and interested.
Overall this blog worked well together with all the components.
The colours made you want to read the blog and the black and white post made
you focussed and interested. Although the background could have been a little
better the whole blog is great and works really well together.
